Precision Martial Arts Academy (PMAA) is proudly celebrating our 24th Anniversary, 3rd year in our beautiful state of the art facility in St. Albert and 4th year offering World Taekwondo at The Royal Glenora Club (RGC). We have grown this Program to over 60 active Students and now offer 3 classes per week to best accommodate and serve our amazing RGC Families and Students.
Our loyal and dedicated Instructor Team is mentored by Master Derek Sadler, ChPC, PFT, a 7th Dan Black Belt, proud owner of PMAA, Master Coach Developer for Taekwondo Canada (TC) and Vice President of the Alberta Taekwondo Association (ATA). Master Sadler has been a Personal Trainer (RGC/BBB/OEG), Wellness and High Performance Coach for over 26 years as well as been actively training in various Martial Arts for 38 years. He has been on Team Canada 5 times as an Athlete, competing as high as World Championships in Tunja, Columbia in 2012. Master Sadler has successfully coached Athletes to podium success at Provincials, Nationals, Canada Open and US Open Championships. Master Sadler’s passion for Fitness/Wellness, Taekwondo and Coaching transcends to his Students, Black Belts and Instructors to pay it forward by sharing the overall health and lifestyle benefits that training in Taekwondo offers.
At RGC, we offer a World Taekwondo Program on Sunday mornings (9:30 a.m. for Beginner Children aged 6+) and Thursday nights in our popular Family Class at 6:00 p.m. where Moms & Dads can come train with their Children. We started the Family Class in January 2019 and it quickly grew to over 26 participants. We have Families with 4 and 5 Family members all training together and we couldn’t be more proud of them all.
Precision Martial Arts Academy (PMAA) teaches Olympic Style World Taekwondo (WT) in St. Albert, Alberta. Taekwondo is the most popular and widely practiced Martial Art in the World. Taekwondo is a complete self-defense system and an Olympic Sport, which consists of two sport streams for competition, Sparring and Poomsae. Moreover, Taekwondo is a powerful tool that helps develop positive character development, fitness/wellness and lifestyle habits for a healthy mind, body and spirit for children and adults alike. At PMAA, we encompass the following tenets through training in/teaching Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control and Indomitable Spirit!
We wish to thank the Royal Glenora Club, its BOD, Members and dedicated Staff for allowing us the privilege and honor to share our passion and experience in Fitness and Martial Arts with your Members and Families at RGC. We look forward to continuing to share our dynamic and exciting Taekwondo, Fitness and Fun with many more Families in 2020 and beyond.
