OCTOBER 2, 2020
To our valued PMAA/RGC Taekwondo Students & Families,
We hope this update finds you and your family healthy and safe during these still uncertain, stressful and difficult times. It has been an exciting month of September at PMAA as we relaunched our award winning World Taekwondo Program, as well as restarted at our Branch Club at the Royal Glenora Club (RGC). We are so glad to be back in action with our awesome students. Classes are going beyond expectations… everyone is safe, happy, practicing excellent social distancing and keeping up with good hand hygiene before, during and after classes prior to departure.
Our Taekwondo Coaches, Taylor, Mae and Sean are doing an excellent job delivering our dynamic lesson plans, keeping everyone engaged and safe, while having fun, developing and growing in a safe learning environment. My Coaches and I work hard each day to ensure our students are safe, following our procedures, respecting each other (and space), plus maintaining a very high standard of sanitization of equipment, mats, door handles, sinks/washroom, benches, etc. Also as always… a BIG THANK YOU to Jeannette Traynor, for coming in EVERY WEEKEND without fail, to do a thorough cleaning, vacuum and mop of our entire facility.
As we are now into our beautiful and fresh FALL season, let October bring a sign of hope, good health, safety and happiness to us all. I encourage all our PMAA/RGC Students and families who are not yet back, to return knowing it is a safe place to be at PMAA/RGC. MOST importantly, YOU and YOUR CHILDREN need to be active with daily fitness and activity, healthy nutrition/food, hydration and Taekwondo will provide the stress/anxiety relief and personal care for mental health that everyone needs in their life, more than ever. Spots are available to join in the fitness fun and mental release that Taekwondo offers, to improve our overall health and wellness, in Mind-Body-Spirit. Phone (780) 983-5424 to speak to Master Sadler with any questions, or to get set up for your glorious return to classes.
Finally, PMAA will be continuing as per September in terms of drop off/pick-up. No waiting, no viewing, no walk-ins for admin or pro shop purchases as there is NO reception staff available. Everything must be paid by E-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Master Sadler directly (780) 983-5424 to provide your credit card information for orders and processing. Doors will continue to be locked during classes with no late entry! Coaches will NOT open the door because you are banging on the glass, so please don’t. All Students should arrive no more than 5-10 minutes, prior to class start times, dressed and ready to go. Thank you to everyone for your cooperation, loyalty and ongoing support. We have no Dojang… no gym… no facility… no Taekwondo Family without you.
- PMAA will continue to monitor and adhere to all safety recommendations from AHS, Coaching Association of Canada and Taekwondo Canada.
- Every night, BEFORE travelling to PMAA, parents/students must read/review the health questions. IF you answer YES to ANY question… STAY HOME! You must not come to class for everyone’s safety.
